Jean Henri Lhuillier, President and CEO of Cebuana Lhuillier and President of the Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines (ASAPHIL), lauded the RP Blu Girls after the national team once again asserted its dominance in Southeast Asian women’s softball, clinching its 11th consecutive SEA Games gold medal.

“This 11th straight SEA Games gold is a testament to the discipline, resilience, and heart of our athletes,” said Lhuillier. “The RP Blu Girls’ victory against Singapore shows why they continue to be the benchmark of softball excellence in the region.”

The Blu Girls successfully defended their crown with a commanding 4–1 victory over Singapore in the championship match, reaffirming their long-standing reign and consistency on the regional stage.

The Filipinas took control early in the game, pairing timely hitting with composed base running to establish momentum and apply sustained pressure on their opponents. Strong pitching and disciplined defense anchored the team’s performance, effectively limiting Singapore’s scoring chances throughout the match.

Despite a determined effort from the Singaporean side, the Blu Girls’ experience and composure in high-stakes situations proved decisive. Their ability to execute under pressure once again underscored the program’s depth, preparation, and competitive maturity.

With another gold medal added to their storied legacy, the Cebuana Lhuillier–backed RP Blu Girls continue to set the standard for excellence in Southeast Asian softball—serving as a powerful inspiration for the next generation of Filipino athletes.
