As a testament to its renewed commitment to bring Philippine softball to greater heights, the Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines unveiled its new logo on Friday.
The country’s national sports association for softball also officially changed its abbreviation from Asaphil to Asa-Phil.
The new Asa-Phil logo symbolizes the organization’s dedication to promoting the sport in the country. It also reflects core values such as strength, unity, and national pride.
The shield signifies resilience, while the softball at the center emphasizes passion for the sport. Crossed bats represent teamwork, and the Philippine flag colors and stars evoke national pride. The laurel wreaths embody victory and honor, encapsulating Asa-Phil’s mission to foster champions and unite players across the country.
“This new logo symbolizes our strengthened commitment to push the boundaries, inspire more athletes and achieve greater heights. With a fresh start, we look forward to seeing even more victories, more milestones, and more Filipinos finding pride and passion in the softball arena. Let’s continue to support our teams as they make the country proud,” said Lhuillier, who also leads Cebuana Lhuillier as its president and chief executive officer.
