OKAYAMA, Japan – The Philippine Blu Boys could not do anything right and absorbed a 0-7 beating at the hands of Japan on Sunday to settle for runnerup honors in the 11th Asian softball championship in Niimi City here.

The Blu Boys kept the Japanese scoreless in the first two innings, only to get buried under an avalanche of runs as the defending champions erupted for five runs in the third inning and two more in the fourth.
